HELLO.
I’m Rebecca Ffrancon, I’ve been a Personal Stylist & Colour Consultant since 2018 and it never feels like work!
SInce then, I’ve worked with hundreds of brilliant women to help them understand more about their style and curate a wardrobe that is versatile and that they love. Many clients come back to me season after season for a wardrobe edit top-up or to strategically shop for items that are missing.
Since 2018, we’ve gone through the pandemic and the world has become a lot more aware of the negative impact of fast fashion on the environment. Working with a Personal Stylist is the ultimate in making fewer shopping mistakes and wearing more of what you already own.
I’ve always loved clothes (well, since about 1977) and the way they have the power to make you feel fabulous. Having a wardrobe that reflects who you are, that makes sense for your lifestyle, suits your personality and your colouring and flatters your bodyshape has a MASSIVE impact on your happiness levels.
I believe we should all feel happy every morning when we stand in front of our wardrobe, and have more fun getting dressed!
I HAVEN'T ALWAYS BEEN A PERSONAL STYLIST, BUT IT WAS MY DREAM FOR A LONG TIME.
I actually never thought I'd have the confidence to become a personal stylist even though people said I should do it - and that lack of self belief held me back and kept me in my job in advertising. I can't complain because it took me to Bermuda and there were some fun parties. But it was never my calling.
It was only after becoming a Mum that things changed - after the baby fog lifted, rediscovering my style really lit me up. It became my personal mission to learn the science behind style and (between naps) I devoured all the information I could find as a way of taking steps towards my ultimate goal. I took mini courses, I read a LOT of style books, I experimented and I evolved, I got a job in a small boutique and learnt even more. I was so happy when I completed my styling and colour course with the Academy of Professional Image.
The best thing I've learnt about style is that personality is EVERYTHING. Style doesn’t come from shopping in the fanciest boutiques or sticking rigidly to all the rules. It comes from within. But sometimes you need a helping hand, to get to the bottom of how this translates to your personal style.
I'm so lucky to be able to share my knowledge to help women not only look fabulous, but to see themselves in a more positive light and start their days with a smile.
WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH ME?
Well, I really listen and make the experience all about you. We delve into how you feel about your style and how you want to feel about it. I do of course give you lots of styling advice and sometimes a pep talk about confidence (especially body confidence)! It is quite a lot like counselling at times, I will always be gentle with you and respect your confidentiality. I rarely share photos of clients or their wardrobes, I would find this intrusive so I hardly ever ask.
I try to be as creative as possible when working in your wardrobe. I am honest and slightly no-nonsense, but gentle with it! My approach is collaborative and not prescriptive.
I only ever see one client a day so I can really focus on you - as an introvert, this is important that you get all my energy!
ARE YOU READY TO FIND STYLE HAPPINESS?
I know your wardrobe stresses you out because I've been there. I know you're a bit fed up of not knowing how to look pulled together because I lost my style mojo too. I also know what a difference investing in yourself to level up your style can make to how you feel about yourself.
Imagine opening your wardrobe and feeling excited about getting dressed because you like every single thing in there! No more stress and struggle trying to pull an outfit together.
Liking what you see in the mirror each day boosts your confidence massively. When we’re happy with our appearance, we feel ready to take on the world and grab life by the peanuts (as we call them in this house)!
Are you ready to invest in yourself?
Do you want to feel less stressed about your wardrobe?
Do you want to feel happy every time you open your wardrobe?
You don't have to wait - and you shouldn't wait - until you've lost weight, until the kids are at school, until you've got more money, until you've got more time. Just take a baby step TODAY.
